Moving Beauty Pathway

Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural’s Great Streets Project area is located in Sylmar, CA on San Fernando Road between Polk Street and Hubbard Street. This .08 mile area is in a working class community with a high population density. To the west are local businesses, a mobile home park, Sylmar Court, and a mixed-use affordable housing complex. To the east is the Metrolink train tracks bordered with the San Fernando Road Bike Path. Tia Chuch’as envisions this project area as an ideal site to unite the community and create a “Moving Beauty Pathway.”
