Tia Chucha's 2019 Fundraising Gala honored Sheila Kuehl, Harry Gamboa Jr., Barbara Carrasco, and Louie Pérez.
The food was amazing, nearly everyone in the audience purchased a signed copy of Pérez's new book, Good Morning, Aztlán, and there was a lot of knowledge shared amongst our community members and new supporters. It was especially exciting to see John Densmore of The Doors, introduce Louie Pérez and give him his award. Below are a few photos from the event.
