EXPLORE

The Indigenous in Us: Embracing Ancestral Knowledge and Sharing the Beauty of Practice program highlights community-based Indigenous local Native Mexica teachings and practices through a series of free public events. With the intention of making individual and communal well being more accessible for residents of the Northeast San Fernando Valley, our Indigenous in Us workshops share ancestral knowledge through the healing arts, Mexica Danza, drumming, Nahuatl language, songs and cosmology, ancestral oral traditions and the origins of cultural celebrations.
