Marjina Haque

2024 Summer Arts Program Intern

Marjina Haque is a student organizer and the 2024 Summer Arts Program Intern. Born in LA and raised in the SFV, she is a member for Students for Justice in Palestine chapter at CSUN (where she's a Sociology major), an organization committed to solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle. She's previously worked in childcare and education, and is excited to get back into it this year! Through organizing, she's deeply invested in serving her community by combatting state neglect and militarism as it manifests in the SFV. When she's not working or organizing, you can find her slowly but surely making/reading comics, watching cartoons or Bollywood movies, or building her tattoo portfolio. If you see her, ask her about her favorite folk and fiber arts, the growing mass movement in the Valley, or Adventure Time!
