Sarahi Sepulveda

Bookstore Assistant

Sarahi Sepulveda (They/Them) started at Tía Chucha’s in the Summer of 2022 as a bookstore assistant. They are currently a student at California State University, Northridge studying Sociology. They plan on pursuing a career in social work, with the hopes of working for the department of children and family services. They hope to grow and learn from the career aspirations to start their own non-profit that would focus on making long term, accessible resources for unhoused families and children. Sarahi likes to host and put together outreach parties among their friends and family to make and distribute care packages to the unhoused in underserved areas of the San Fernando Valley and the Los Angeles area. In their free time, Sarahi enjoys going on hikes, developing black and white film, watching movies, and attending DIY events showcasing live music, art, and community among strangers.
