cultural arts series

Review the class dates and times to plan your schedule in preparation for the Cultural Arts Workshops.  All classes will meet once a week for 8 weeks, for a total of 8 classes with the exception of the Culinary classes at El Nido Family Centers which will meet twice a week for 3 weeks, for a total of 6 classes. In-person registrations will be prioritized. Class spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  We will accept in-person registrations ONLY on the following dates:  Saturday, February 21, from 12 pm - 3 pm Monday, February 23rd from 5pm-7pm Tuesday February 24th 5pm-7pm Wednesday, February 25th, 5 pm - 7 pm.

Online registration will open on Monday, February, 28, 2025  Registering online DOES NOT automatically enroll the participant into the class.  You will receive updates on your registration status within 2-3 days via email.  The registration link will be available on our website and social media.

Our waitlist will be in chronological order of when registrations come in.

In-person registrations will be prioritized for participant selection. Participants must be within the age range listed for each class.  Please be aware of the age requirements for each class before signing up.  We are only accepting a maximum of 2 participants from each family per class and one registration per participant  You will be limited to 1-2 classes per registration.

All participants are eligible to receive a $100 gift card upon completion of the class.  Participants must attend 7 out of 8 classes and the final showcase presentation to receive a gift card and certificate of completion. Culinary class participants must attend 5 out of 6 classes. Participants who miss more than 2 classes will not be considered for Summer 2026 programming.

All classes are FREE, and all materials and instruments are provided.  Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural & Bookstore is a nonprofit and gladly accepts donations.
